A Tale of Two Kids

A quick introduction for those stray non-family members that might find this blog. I'm a working mom with two kids, Jordan who is five and Kaitlyn (aka Katie) who is three. My children are the only set of grandchildren for three sets of grandparents and also have four dotting uncles. Can we say spoiled!! Despite my best efforts, the kids have actually turned out to be great kids and an endless source of amusement.

Mommy got her hand slapped!

Apparently, Mommy has been a bad Mommy 'cause she hasn't been updating the blog. Shopping Grandma called to give me heck. You'd think she'd cut me a bit of slack since I did have surgery :-)

So what have we been up to? Well, you'll have to wait for a post from Grandma Jo to find out what Jordan's been doing. She kidnapped him most of the summer and forced him to go camping. They did awful things like hiking and swimming in the lake and riding bikes in the park and making new friends. What a cruel women, eh? :-)

Katie suffered horribly this summer too. She had Mellicent's undivided attention during the day. Mellicent took her to the water park and shopping and to chucky cheese. The horror! In the evenings Katie had Daddy all to her self and from the giggles I could hear, he tortured her endlessly.

Anyway, I'll try to post more frequently!
